Text/SMS, TTS and Voice Broadcasting - Web Based Group Messaging
Follow

As of July 20th, our SMS Telco partner stopped providing SMS services to our platform.
This is due to increasing regulation from Telco industry, which is making it harder and harder for small operators like us, to operate.
Our platform is currently unable to deliver any SMS messages.
We are not sure if or when this situation will be resolved.
All the subscription charges at this moment are blocked, there will be NO Paypal or Credit Card payments being charged, unless we are able to operate normally again.
We are sorry for this situation, and we will keep you posted.

2-Way SMS Messaging with Virtual Mobile Number

Starting from March, 2010, SMS Matrix is able to handle 2-way messaging using SMS, Voice and Text-to-Speech worldwide, to any country in the world, at very competitive prices.

Users can take advantage of Matrix' Virtual Mobile Phone Numbers, and receive incoming SMS messages (e.g. replies, opt-ins, opt-outs) at their dedicated phone number. This is easy to use and much more cost effective alternative to having a dedicated short code.

Sign up for Silver or Gold account, and we will assign free virtual mobile phone number to your account. This number can be used as caller ID when you send SMS messages. Your recipients will be able to reply to your SMS messages and our system will receive these SMS replies, or - in fact - all SMS messages delivered to your number.

For each incoming SMS or Call our system can automatically:
  • Forward incoming SMS to your email address
  • Forward incoming SMS to your 'real' mobile phone (as text)
  • Forward incoming SMS to any phone as Text-to-Speech
  • Submit incoming SMS via HTTP to the URL on your server for further processing
  • Transfer incoming Voice Calls to your 'real' phone number
  • Automatically save incoming phone numbers in your database
  • Handle opt-outs
  • Reply with predefined responses

We also provide custom software development for all SMS/Voice related projects, and our developers can help you to integrate
SMS Matrix mobile solutions with your system. Please contact us for details.

One virtual mobile number comes free with each Silver or Gold SMS Matrix account; for an extra fee we can add more numbers to your account, as needed.

Incoming SMS messages are charged at the same rate as outgoing.
Transfered Calls are charged at the same rate as outgoing Voice call, billing is done in 1 minute increments.
Virtual numbers are available for almost all US area codes; in the near future we will also provide numbers in Canada.
Virtual numbers can receive SMS and Calls from any country in the world.
Please contact our support team if you need virtual mobile number to be set up for your account.

Virtual Mobile Phone Numbers can also be used for incoming voice calls.
Imagine sending an SMS using your virtual number - your recipient receives it, and decides to call you back. Our system will receive such calls, and redirect caller to your real phone number.

Text To Speech Messaging

Text Messaging with text-to-speech option
Text to Speech (TTS) option included in every mothly plan, helps to convert text message to high quality voice, and deliver it to land line phones. This option is very useful for all kinds of alerts, when you want to push out your message quickly and without thinking what kind of receiver(s) (sms capable cell phone or voice-only capable phone) are we dealing with.
The whole process is totally transparent to the user.

For both: Voice or Text-to-Speech messages, it is possible to send voice or TTS message, that would ask the recipient to make a choice by pressing a number on the dial.

For instance a car serviceman wants to ask if his customers are happy:
'Hello, this is Citroen Service in Smallville. You visited us last week. We would like to know if you were happy with the service we have provided. Press 1 if you were happy, or press 2 if you were not. Press 9 to repeat this message.'
The recipient would listen to the message, and then press 1, or 2. The number pressed will later show up in the message status, so it will be easy for the sender to see and handle recipient's response.
